12 Week Year WAM Week 12

Goal 1: Declutter house and take care of family. 72% (18/25)

Review: I did actually do some cleaning this week - we had people for dinner and I wanted it to look like I lived here, not like I'd spent most of the summer on the couch because of my foot. I have all the clothes washed and dried, but I need to fold them and put them away. I hate doing that. Ugh. Dishes got done, and that makes me happy.

Goal 2: Catch up on Fannish50. 90% (9/10)

Review: This is going pretty well. I want to get through all of them - I posted #34 last week. I just need to keep things going. I'm glad I did this, and I'm hoping I'll keep going with it.

Intentions for the future: G1: I'll keep working on getting my routines down, and see about keeping up on everything. G2: I have more to post, and more to write, and it'll go well if I just keep working on it.

The New Yorker is trying to convince me that Bluesky has become annoying and everyone’s back on Xitter. Not linking because it’s paywalled. True or false?

I never got the hang of Twitter. I have similar problems with Bluesky. I don’t need a social site to deliver me more links. I want conversation. Is conversation dead? Where is it? (I know there’s some here…)

Fannish50 #33: Purple Kiss

I love Purple Kiss. I'm not as careful about following them as I am the boy groups - I've been into boy groups MUCH longer than girls. They debuted in 2022 from RBW, and sadly will be disbanding in November 2025, after one more song and a tour. At least we get that much.

I'm going to miss them. They remind me a lot of Dreamcatcher, another of my favorite groups. I wish I could see them live.

12 Week Year WAM Week 11

Weekly Score: 82.8 (24/28)

Goal 1: Declutter house and take care of family. 88% (21/24)

Review: I didn't do too badly, although not as well as I would have liked. Kept up with laundry, and dishes aren't too bad.

Goal 2: Catch up on Fannish50. 60% (3/5)

Review: I'm not caught up, but I can't post any more until I write more. The next bunch is going to be fun.

Goal 3: Prep for writing retreat. 100%

Review: I got back from it yesterday, and it was just... perfect. Well, not exactly, we didn't everything we'd planned, but it worked so well! I'm happy with it for our first outing, and I got around 8k words written. Learned things about my writing group people that came, too, and I'm just excited that we want to continue it. Even managed a poll about what to keep and what to change for next time. So I'm happy there will be a next time!

Intentions for the future: G1: I'm going to keep on the Conservatory and living room - those both need to get cleaned up. I need to get into some boxes and I hope some things I'm missing are in them. G2 - I have five posts to write to try to catch up, as well as some other writing to do. I'm looking forward to it.
