That last line was exactly why Grover was so quiet. :) He's a good friend, and good friends want their friends to make good matches, which Percy/Annabeth definitely is! Thank you for this. It's been a while since I've seen anything Percy Jackson posted. I'd... had some trouble with the fandom after originally enjoying the first two books immensely. This made me smile, fondly recall the characters, and left me with warm fuzzies. I might actually try again to pick up the series one day, after having donated books I was given...
